Growing up in Peebles, I couldn't wait to move away. But biking brought me back to the valley almost 20 years later and I can't believe how lucky we are to live in such an amazing place! After a good few years of enjoying the trails, it's time to give something back.

As part of the TVTA team, I'm excited to pay my dues through trail maintenance and anything else thrown at me but, as a Programme Director by day, I can hopefully be of use behind the scenes; helping to plan and deliver, working with partners and the wider community, to continue to build on the hard work to date, creating a sustainable trail network for the benefit of all. And who knows, it might somehow improve my biking skills too…
